We are to offer prayer daily. Scripture tells us that we are to “pray constantly. (1 Thessalonians 5:17) We are to pray, not just for ourselves, but for others as well. This was the pattern in the early church. “And they devoted themselves to the Apostles teaching and fellowship, the breaking of bread and prayers.” (Acts 2:42). This pattern of prayer continues with Morning and Evening Prayer as it is practiced in the Book of Common Prayer throughout the Anglican Communion.
The clergy of Our Lady offer prayers as part of their expected devotions.
